| This unique picture from space shows the United States Virgin Islands
and the British Virgin Islands on an almost cloudless day.
This photograph by NASA, created by joining three consecutive images,
was taken by the 4th crew of the International Space Station while they
were conducting a mission of more than six months in space. This
crew consisted of two American astronauts and one Russian cosmonaut.
They came back on Earth during May 2002.

on their way to other Caribbean destinations. |
